Moët & Chandon returns as the official champagne of Formula 1

For the upcoming 2025 season onward, Moët & Chandon will once again be the official champagne of Formula 1.

Since the very first Formula 1 race in 1950, Moët & Chandon has been part of the victory celebrations of legends like Sir Jackie Stewart, Ayrton Senna, Niki Lauda, Alain Prost, Mika Häkkinen and Michael Schumacher. As this year marks the 75th anniversary of the sport, the storied champagne house has decided to return to the podium: When the 2025 season starts in early March, Moët & Chandon shall return as F1's official champagne, replacing the winery. The Maison will also take center stage as a title partner of the at Spa-Francorchamps.

The was part of the very FIA Formula 1 World Championship calendar during the inaugural 1950 season, and was  won by the legendary 5-time world champion Juan Manuel Fangio. Just two weeks later, Fangio triumphed again at the French Grand Prix, which was held at the Reims-Gueux circuit in Champagne – where two very special racing fans from the region attended: Paul Chandon-Moët and his cousin, Count Frédéric Chandon de Briailles. After the race, they welcomed Fangio to the Château de Saran on the Moët & Chandon estate to celebrate his victory.
